Dear Pastor, is a living breathing site dedicated to encouragement and pastoral theology written by me, Tony Evans.

This site and some of the topics and articles you'll find here started to form in 2024. I wanted to write to my fellow pastors and encourage them, knowing also that we need to think well about how we lead ourselves and lead our churches.

There are certainly many books available on the life of a pastor, but rarely do they intersect in personal ways. This is what's unique about blogs in general, they become reflections of life, belief, and practice. And so I want Dear Pastor, to walk along that same path by becoming a reflection of a life trying to be faithful. In this way, I hope you are encouraged and see that you are not alone in treading this path of being a Pastor.
